Make Up/Skincare: Do not wear any make up to your appointment. This includes any skin
care such as sunscreen and moisturizer. It is particularly important that eye make up is not
worn.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. Avoid wearing jewelry near
the neck and face such as earrings, necklaces and facial piercings.

Avoid eating for at least 2 hours before your appointment. If you are diabetic, please eat as
normal.

Do not wear contact lenses. Glasses are acceptable.

Some medications can interfere with our testing. Please avoid the use of anti-vertigo and
anti-nausea medications, antihistamines, sedatives, stimulants, and anti-depressants and
anti-anxiety medications for 48 hours prior to the appointment. It is important that if you
are to stop taking any medications, this must be approved by your GP before doing so. Vital
medications such as heart and seizure control medications should not be stopped.

Avoid caffeine from midnight the night before your appointment. This includes tea, coffee,
and energy drinks.

Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Please let us know if you have any back or neck injuries on the day of your appointment.
